Parks & Trails
Get outside and enjoy all that City Center Mankato has to offer through its parks and trails. As the trailhead for three major trails, including the Red Jacket, Minneopa and Minnesota River, which connects to the Sakatah Singing Hills State trail (a 39 mile trail between Mankato and Faribault), City Center Mankato acts as the central hub for your recreational adventures! These paved trails offer views of the Minnesota River, wild flowers, waterfalls and limestone cliffs as you bike, hike or simply take in the outdoors.
Along the way, view City Center Mankato’s newest hot spot, Riverfront Park. It is an outdoor venue for a variety of events and festivals. The Grand Lawn, Vetter Stone Amphitheater, canoe landing, trail head building, playground and public art are just some of the attractions and amenities this riverside park has to offer. Additionally, Sibley Park located in City Center Mankato’s west side is a dynamic community park and petting zoo with beautiful gardens, one of Minnesota’s top playgrounds, outside exercise equipment, and, in the winter, Kiwanis Holiday Lights.
